What's the sense in being a Cyberian?

Cyberspace is a relatively new medium, constantly expanding like our universe apparently. Less crowded - can a language be termed 'crowded', even if we all speak it incessantly? - and equally unknown.

What use is there in expressing odd thoughts to no one in particular, in a populous void like the web? If one loves language, one wishes to share it surely, in all its perplexity and beauty, with the stray thoughts and images it unfolds. There is no other end. Feel free, our e-soul tells us, be outlaws in ether. Find in the virtual world what the actual denies you. An infinitude of electrons awaits.

Are words chance echoes as we eavesdrop on cyberspace?  My e-mind tells me this is far-fetched. Listening is a silent medium. But eavesdropping implies some interpretation, and that's where language finds a voice.

For all those out here, like myself, alone and treading in infinite space, I salute you, like some long-lost lover that time and truth will reveal. A fellow traveller and friend.

'Hypocrite lecteur, mon semblable, mon frère', as Baudelaire put it; or in other words 'cheers'.
